Essential requirements
Strong technical competencies with an understanding of data engineering/science technologies, such as Python, PySpark, ElasticSearch, SQL, Docker, and AWS.
Good understanding of Agile methodologies and experience applying them.
Experience within an architecture or technical lead role
Good working knowledge of modern data science/engineering best practices such as models, analytics and pipelines.
Possess high levels of written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and influencing experience.
Ability to build and scale a team of data scientists and engineers within a technology organisation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving experience as a technical lead, and ability to plan and mitigate accordingly to allow the engineering team to remain robust and able to deliver in the face of change.

Desirable requirements
4 years+ within a software development/technical role
Relevant degree qualification Resilient to change, previously worked within an agile business/start-up.
Comfortable with change management AWS Solution Architect Certificate or similar
