Location: Newport - The postholder should be able to visit sites within the city boundary. The postholder should hold a current, full UK driving licence.

Main Purpose of Job:
To provide technical expertise in the support of the management of the client's portfolio of structures and to maintain inspection and survey data reports to statutory requirements.
To undertake design, contract preparation and supervision of the implementation of structural engineering works relating to Infrastructure assets.
To provide structural engineering advice to client officers, senior managers, elected members and members of the public as necessary.
