Essential
• Strong technical competencies with an understanding of software technologies, such as TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Nextjs, Express.js, Node, SQL, GraqhQL, ElasticSearch, CI/CD, unit testing, Git, Docker, and AWS.
• Knowledge of modern web development best practices covering concepts such as server-side-rendering, accessibility, security and responsive design.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience applying them.
• Working knowledge of infrastructures, cloud software solutions and architecture.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment and capable of taking initiative
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving experience, and ability to plan and mitigate accordingly to allow the engineering team to remain robust and able to deliver in the face of change.
Desirable
• 2 years+ within a software development /technical role
• Relevant degree qualification
• Resilient to change, previously worked within an agile business/start-up. Comfortable with change management
• Capable of working across multiple project with different stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial thinker and approach
