Location: Ideally looking for full time but may consider part time (perhaps a job share of some sort). We work in a flexible/hybrid way but would ideally like someone who can come into Exeter fairly regularly (1-2 per week ideally)

Person Specification
1. Experience and understanding of the news media, publishing and social landscape.
2. Excellent written and oral communications skills, with the focus on written, being able to communicate with impact and at pace.
3. Excellent interpersonal and team working that enable delivery of effective working relationships at all levels of an organisation
4. Experience of developing engaging online, social media, or news content to successfully deliver increased reach and engagement
5. Experience of communicating complex subjects such as meteorology, to a public audience.
Desirable Criteria
• Being a trained meteorologist, climate scientist or a background in weather communications
• A background in journalism
