Infrastructure Project Manager – 12490

Salary: £50-£60 per hour (Inside IR35)

Location: Oxford - hybrid working available - visits to site may be required

Contracting Authority: Government Client
Contract Length: 6 month placement
Clearance: DBS

Minimum Requirement
Looking for someone with experience in new
transport infrastructure (not just highways maintenance), NEC4 contract
experience, knows procurement frameworks etc.

Must have
• Substantial experience working within the specified area of expertise (infrastructure project management knowledge and experience of leading large complex projects)
• Qualified to chartered or equivalent level as required of the role e.g. Chartered Engineer or Project Management Professional. With evidence of a proactive approach to continuous professional development.
• Management qualification and/or experience of managing at the required level ie managing multi-disciplinary project teams (either directly or via
matrix management) in a similar discipline/organisation.

Essential
• A Professional qualification Level 6 (e.g. Degree) or similar qualification in a relevant discipline (eg Engineering or Project Mgt) OR substantial experience in a relevant specialist field of works related to Infrastructure delivery
• A sound knowledge of the latest legislative requirements as they relate to the identified specialist field.
• Demonstrable experience of effective engagement with customers and stakeholders within a public service context.
• Strong partnership work ethic with a proven track record of embracing and maintaining successful partnerships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Resilient with the ability to manage own emotions in the face of pressure, set-backs or when dealing with challenging situations.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan own workload with limited supervision and a proven ability to effectively manage competing demands and priorities.
• Competent IT user including the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Skype for Business, Visio, Teams). Confident with data analysis, using it to inform strategy and monitor performance.
