Essential
• Proven experience in a UX Designer or User Experience role within a digital or software delivery environment.
• Strong understanding of user centred design principles and accessibility standards.
• Experience conducting user research and translating insights into design solutions.
• Ability to produce clear UX artefacts (journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, mock ups).
• Strong visual design skills, with experience producing professional branding and presentation materials.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product Owners, Solutions Architects, and engineering teams in an agile environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and visual concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable
• Background or formal experience in business analysis or requirements engineering.
• Experience working in multi product or platform-based environments.
• Understanding of technical architecture concepts and constraints.
• Experience working with remote or distributed delivery teams.
• Defence or government domain experience. Security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Experience designing for data heavy, analytical, or complex user interfaces.
• Comfortable working in a fast changing, agile or start-up-style environment.
• Experience producing marketing materials or the like
