The following requirements form part of the key selection criteria for the role.
• Our client is looking for strong technical capability and an understanding of data engineering and data science technologies such as Python, PySpark, Elasticsearch, SQL, Docker and AWS.
• Candidates must understand and apply modern data engineering practices, including data pipelines and data quality, and have knowledge of modern data science practices such as models and analytics.
• An understanding of Agile methodologies and experience applying them are also essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, alongside the ability to work comfortably in a highly collaborative environment and take initiative.
• Candidates should bring strong troubleshooting and problem-solving experience, with the ability to plan ahead and mitigate issues so that the Data team can continue delivering as circumstances change.
