Systems Engineer – 15478

Salary: £To be confirmed on application (our client has asked for this not to be advertised).

Location: There is the expectation of at least one day in the Bristol office as a minimum. This will include attendance at UK supplier sites, demonstrations, technical reviews and trials.

Contracting Authority: Government Client
Contract Length: 19/10/2026 until 31/03/2027 (160 days)
Clearance: SC

Essential Experience/Skills Requirement
• Demonstrable experience providing technical advice and supporting delivery of engineering outcomes in aerospace, propulsion or related systems engineering environments. This should include practical understanding of propulsion systems, sub-system integration and the engineering considerations associated with low-cost or disposable air systems.
• Demonstrate experience of providing technical advice and leading the delivery of successful engineering outcomes, ideally in propulsion solutions, aerospace solutions or related systems engineering environments; and,
• As a minimum be professionally registered as either: o Incorporated Engineer (IEng), or
o Registered Scientist (RSci), or
o Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP), or
o Incorporated Marine Engineer (IMarEng), or o Registered Marine Scientist (RMarSci), or
o Registered Marine Technologist (RMarTech), or
o Advanced Data Science Professional, or
o Incorporated Radiation Protection Professional (IRadP), or
o Advanced Registered IT Technician (Adv RITTech).
• Propulsion solutions technical experience is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an agile, fast paced mindset.
