Location: Bristol - Hybrid working. Specific travel requirements to be discussed with client once on task. The role will require foreign as well as UK travel.
Essential
• Ability to provide Tech Superintendent support to critical safety and certification maintenance periods.
• This requires experience across a breadth of engineering disciplines and a requirement to use sound engineering judgement at the waterfront to progress work pragmatically.
• Understanding of regulation, legislation, certification, Class Society Rules and engineering processes
• Hold a Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics based qualification at RQF Level 4; and
• Have wide ranging depth and breadth experience of providing technical advice and delivery of successful Mechanical or Mechatronic outcomes; and
• Demonstrate experience of providing technical advice and leading the delivery of successful Mechanical or Mechatronic outcomes; and
• With a relevant Professional body/institution related to your discipline, be professionally registered as either:
o Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or
o Registered Scientist (RSci) or
o Incorporated Marine Engineer (IMarEng)
