Summary of Role
This DevOps role will be part of a team delivering new capabilities and enhancements within a large programme focused on a bespoke Node.js application. The role is responsible for supporting and improving the application's deployment, operational resilience, security, and performance through the implementation of DevOps best practices.
The successful candidate will work closely with development teams and technical leadership to evolve, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate operational processes, manage cloud and infrastructure environments, and support the efficient delivery of software releases Responsibilities include troubleshooting production and non-software releases. Responsibilities include troubleshooting production and non-production environments, managing platform reliability, and driving continuous improvements across the software delivery lifecycle.
The role also involves contributing to the scoping and estimation of work and ensuring that infrastructure, deployment, and operational changes are delivered in a secure, scalable, and maintainable manner. Collaboration with engineers, architects, and technical leads will be essential to promote DevOps culture, automation, and operational excellence throughout the programme.
