What we need from you
• Proven hands-on experience delivering datacentre-to-cloud migrations at production scale - AWS is the target platform
• Strong working knowledge of VMware/datacentre environments - you need to understand what you are migrating from, not just what you are migrating to
• Comfortable assessing and taking over partially-built automation that may not be production-ready - you will need to form your own view of what is usable and what needs to be rebuilt; Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent experience required
• Able to span multiple teams running in parallel - each focused on their own application migration - and provide the technical uplift, standards, and unblocking each one needs without creating a bottleneck
• Experienced with the realities of migration delivery: dependency hell, last-minute discoveries, cutover pressure
• Able to escalate commercially and technically to senior stakeholders without over-engineering the governance
