Location: London 2 days in the office pw

Contracting Authority: Government Client
Contract Length: 6 months
Clearance: BPSS

Essential Experience
• Proven experience of managing administrative, business support or corporate support teams.
• Significant experience of people management, including attendance, performance, conduct and capability management.
• Experience of working in a matrix management environment.
• Experience of managing competing priorities and operational workloads.
• Experience of building effective relationships with senior stakeholders.

Essential Skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to hold difficult conversations and address performance issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and resource planning capability.
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Essential Knowledge
• Understanding of employment policies and people management practices.
• Knowledge of business support and administrative service delivery.
• Understanding of governance, budget management and organisational controls.

Desirable
• Experience working within a public sector or regulated environment.
• Relevant management qualification or equivalent experience.
