Programme Benefits Lead – 14909

Salary: £600 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: 2 days onsite (However may be required to do more - Hybrid working, with an expectation of around 2 days per week onsite (London), though flexibility applies. Willingness to undertake occasional national travel (England & Wales); travel expenses covered

Clearance: Minimum SC Clearance. Candidates must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting Check (enhanced) SCe level.

Experience & Background
• Significant benefits management experience (typically 5+ years), acting as a subject matter expert rather than a general programme PMO role
• Proven experience working across large, complex programmes, ideally national-scale initiatives
Experience delivering benefits from early lifecycle stages, including:
• Benefits identification
• Baselining and quantification
• Tracking, reporting, and benefits realisation
• Experience within central government, large public-sector organisations, or equivalent (e.g. Home Office, Cabinet Office, NHS England, TfL); policing experience is desirable but not essential

Qualifications & Technical Knowledge
• Relevant benefits management qualification, e.g. APMG Managing Benefits (strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of benefits frameworks and governance
• Economics or analytical background desirable, particularly familiarity with the Green Book and benefit valuation methodologies
