Essential skills and experience:
a. Demonstrable procurement skills with 2+ years’ experience working in the public sector.
b. Experience of developing procurement strategies to identify compliant procurement opportunities and routes to market
c. Experience of leading procurements, including further competitions from the Government Commercial Agency (formerly Crown Commercial Service (CCS)) framework agreements, and Dynamic Purchasing Systems.
d. Experience of Market Engagement Activities, including events, development of questions and analysis of information to inform procurement strategies.
e. Experience of working in multi-disciplined project teams with strong communication skills to influence and persuade stakeholders in relation to compliant routes to market and tender documentation.
f. Experience of drafting invitation to tender documentation, contracts for contract award and managing procurement activity through e-sourcing platforms (i.e Jaggaer or similar).
